Location: Clark, Pampanga | Tarlac City | IT Park, Cebu City

Shift: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday

ABOUT THE ROLE:

1. Bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online Expertise

   • Transaction categorization and journal entry posting

   • Bank and credit card reconciliations

   • Comfortable navigating and working with custom charts of accounts

   • Clear understanding of how transactions affect financial statement components

   • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online – Pro Advisor Certification Preferred

2. Financial Close and Cleanup Experience

   • Full month-end and year-end close procedures

   • Adjusting journal entries for accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and more

   • Cleanup of client books to produce an accurate, final trial balance

   • Ability to independently identify and correct data anomalies

3. Audit/Tax Workpaper Preparation

   • Preparing structured, audit-style workpapers for tax purposes in PDF format

   • Cross-referencing account balances to source documentation with stamps in PDF

   • Supporting adjusting journal entries with notated schedules

   • Consistent use of referencing and explanatory comments throughout workpapers

4. Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis

   • Ability to translate a finalized trial balance into a properly structured Income Statement and Balance Sheet

   • Understands interrelationships between financial statements and the effect of adjustments on each

   • Can verify whether a set of financials looks right based on accounting logic (e.g., retained earnings flow-through, balance sheet balance, accurate net income presentation)

   • Able to identify when fixed assets, equity accounts, or retained earnings appear misstated or disconnected from expected outcomes

   • Familiar with common financial ratios and trends used in analysis and tax planning

ABOUT YOU:

• Active CPA license (Philippines or US-equivalent)

• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles focused on full-cycle bookkeeping, close processes, workpaper preparation, and financial reporting

• Excellent English proficiency, especially in documentation and written communication for workpapers

• Demonstrated expertise in all the following competency areas:
